Mixtape

“Mixtape” is a visual tribute to the qualities in visual art that parallel music composition: rhythm, harmony, beat, and vibe. The exhibition blends two distinct artistic approaches: one; a playful, improvisational, freestyle, using primarily black & white, and the other; an introspective and more methodical way of working that features vibrant color as the main character. Both approaches express my interest in the process of creativity, the nature of growth and the relationships between shape, line and the space they live in.
