Converging shapes, lines and colors are the foundations of my hand-pulled prints. The interdependent and interlocking relationships of these components alternately produce energy and synergy which generates structure to the compositions.  Discipline and instinct allow these outcomes that provide a sense of harmony to counteract the disorder in today’s chaotic world.
My work is a combination of various printmaking techniques, such as intaglio, relief, monotype and chine collé.  This visceral and mental journey is guided by inks, matrices, and papers, including artist-made-paper. Discovery, experimentation and invention are the converging forces that inspire me to create.
