My paintings tell a story.
My main objective is that my work represents nature in raw form, raw energy or raw emotion. My subjects are painted in the present, and are true to the human experience. In my studies of our environment, I want to create the surreal.
My tools are the lines, connected and disconnected, atmospheric color, and a changing surface.
I am fascinated by social behavior and interrelationships. I am a witness.
Connected Disconnect was inspired while traveling by train in Italy.  In this painting, I study the effect of technology’s addictions.  My figures are obviously connected, however isolated from each other and without the need to be fully present. I am intrigued by how easy it is for us to revert into our own socially linked network.
